Position SummaryAn exciting opportunity to work on financial data forecasting for complex retail problems/challenges. Utilize deep learning methods and architectures to build and deploy state-of-the-art forecasting systems.What you'll do:Build time series forecasting systems.Develop data science models for retail & e-commerce.Deploy trained ML models into cloud for business/customers.About TeamOur team works closely with our US stores and eCommerce business to better serve customers by empowering team members, stores, and merchants with technological innovation.What You'll DoWork with data scientists to design and implement e2e ML systems targeting internal financial customers.Build scalable time series forecasting systems that can handle the trainings and predictions of thousands of ML models simultaneously.Develop best-in-class coding practice and CI/CD process in an inner-source fashion.What You'll BringExperience working closely with data scientists on ML modeling and building infrastructures to deploy the models.Heavy engineering experience within ML, writing scripts for creating and building pipelines.End to end pipeline and infrastructure build outs.ML frameworks: Kubernetes, Docker, Airflow, Python, Spark.MLOps: experience of model deployment in cloud platforms.GCP Vertex, GCP Cloud, and Big Query.Completely hands on.Problem solver with can-do attitude, not afraid of facing new problems, technical challenges, delivery pressures.Ability to clearly define problems, solutions and constraints from informal and flexible business requirements.Teamwork spirit, quick adaptation to new environment.Minimum QualificationsOutlined below are the required minimum qualifications for this position:Option 1: Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or related area and 3 years' experience in software engineering or related area.Option 2: 5 years' experience in software engineering or related area.Preferred QualificationsOutlined below are the optional preferred qualifications for this position:Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related area and 1 year's experience in software engineering or related area.We value candidates with a background in creating inclusive digital experiences, demonstrating knowledge in implementing Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA standards, assistive technologies, and integrating digital accessibility seamlessly.Primary Location10790 Parkridge Dr. Suite 200, Reston, VA 20191, United States of America
