The position assists with the moderately to highly complex service and maintenance of one or more categories of imaging equipment. Assists with performing installations, repairs, adjustments, and calibrations of imaging equipment within assigned geography. May work independently at times; however, typically work is performed under close supervision with management.Job Description :EDUCATION:Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma.Associate's: Electronic Technology or EngineeringTYPICAL EXPERIENCE:2 years recent relevant experienceSKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:Knowledge of radiology physics, digital technology, and mechanics.Knowledge of laws and regulations pertaining to imaging equipment, radiation safety, and protection practices.Knowledge of human anatomy & physiology, and medical terminology and regulatory requirements including TJC, CAP, the California Radiation Control Regulations – title 17, and the California Administrative Code – Title 22.Requires the knowledge base and experience to repair and maintain a wide range of diagnostic imaging equipment quickly and accurately.Basic skills in the following areas: radiographic systems, diagnostic ultrasound systems, portables, CR readers, Bureau of Radiological Health and Certification procedures.Verbal and written communication skills.Listening skills.Organizational skills.Basic computer skills (MS Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) required.Job Shift:

The salary range for this role may vary above or below the posted range as determined by location. This range has not been adjusted for any specific geographic differential applicable by area where the position may be filled. Compensation takes into account several factors including but not limited to a candidate’s experience, education, skills, licensure and certifications, department equity, training, and organizational needs.
