If choosing to work remote, this role can be located in one of the following states: Colorado, Florida, Iowa, Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, and Texas.What You'll Do:Provide an experienced data science skillset to the Business Analytics team in proactively researching, decision-making, automation and implementation of business intelligence and analytics with little to no supervision. This includes evaluating redundancies and complexities within the data.Fully establish partnerships with all levels of business users to understand their business requirements and translate those business needs into data science or analytic solutions across the Enterprise.Present data and findings to a variety of audiences.Collaborate with subject matter experts, data governance coordinators, data stewards and data engineers to develop models and advanced analytics for the enterprise.Support and enhance existing models and advanced analytics.Familiar with data science techniques. Able to peer review work.Suggest relevant data science approaches to meet business and strategic objectives.Conduct research around best practices. Monitor industry activities involving data science and analytics, participating in special projects as needed.Maintain and continue to develop a solid working knowledge of technological advances. Keep leadership informed of external trends and issues that may impact the business and be fully proficient in Business Analytics systems.To be considered for this position, you must have:Bachelor’s Degree in data science, mathematics, computer sciences, statistics, risk management, economics, engineering, or related quantitative or analytics field.3 years of experience developing in support of mature or maturing BI, Data Science or Analytics environment (Analytic and Data Mining environments).Demonstrated experience consulting and influencing decisions using sound judgment and data analysis to effectively drive positive business outcomes and resolve complex problems.An equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted for this requirement. The ability to meet or exceed the attendance and timeliness requirements of their departments. The ability to work well in a team environment and be capable of building and maintaining positive relationships with other staff, departments, and customers.
