This position is responsible for the development, leadership, and administration of all aspects of a successful Campus Wellness, Intramurals/club sports

Duties and Responsibilities:

F_a _c_i_l_i_t_y_ _M_a_n_a_g_e_m_e_n_t_:_

_Supervise the QuakerFit/CSS Indoor and Outdoor Turf facilities.Schedule and oversee group fitness and recreation classes.Supervise all aspects of WC intramurals/ club sports programs.Coordinate regular maintenance and submit equipment purchase/repair requests to the Associate Athletic Director.S_c_h_e_d_u_l_i_n_g_ _a_n_d_ _C_o_o_r_d_i_n_a_t_i_o_n _:_ _

Manage coordination with coaches regarding facility schedules and operating hours.Hire, train, and supervise student workers, interns, and job shadow students.Plan, coordinate, and schedule intramural programs.F_i_t_n_e_s_s_ _P_r_o_g_r_a_m_s_:_

Coordinate and conduct group fitness classes and personal training sessions.Provide training for new QuakerFit instructors.Provide significant and high-quality opportunities in a variety of indoor and outdoor intramural activities to satisfy the diverse needs of residential students, faculty, and staff. This may include team and individual/dual sport activities/tournaments/leagues including fitness challenges for students and faculty/staff.Maintain records relative to participation and equipment inventory.Develop and maintain a website for online registration of events, leagues, etc.Assist with campus clubs and organizations, student activities, and other student services when necessary.Attend and supervise intramural events. Referee when necessary.Performs required duties as the building supervisor, including site supervision, securing, and closing.Manage the intramural budget; authorize intramural equipment purchases and repairs. Design and purchase championship T-shirt awards.Create and maintain an intramural manual of operations.Promote intramural programs through marketing and advertising.B_u_d_g_e_t_ _a_n_d_ _D_e_v_e_l_o_p_m_e_n_t_:_

_Manage the budget for QRC/Indoor Turf staffing, maintenance, and development.Manage the WC Intramurals work-study students and funding.W_e_l_l_n_e_s_s_ _a_n_d_ _P_r_o_g_r_a_m_m_i_n_g_:_

Hire and advise the Wellness Committee.Promote healthy lifestyle choices through QRC and Wellness Committee programming.E_v_e_n_t_s_ _a_n_d_ _I_n_c_l_u_s_i_v_i_t_y_:_ _

Organize, budget, and conduct the annual Health and Fitness Fair.Ensure a safe, inclusive, and diverse environment for all faculty, staff, and students at QRC.Performance Standards:

Bachelor's degree, plus at-least two years of related personal training, strength and conditioning, yoga, and other group fitness instructor experience. Minimum certifications in personal training.Current Red Cross CPR/AED and First Aid certification.Evidence of excellent mentoring, coaching, managing, and organizational skills.Demonstrated ability to train quality student instructors and other staff positions.Ability to quickly build rapport and to communicate effectively with a diverse population.
