eDiscovery Associate Attorney

A law firm in Portland is currently seeking a qualified eDiscovery Associate Attorney to join their team. The ideal candidate should have relevant industry affiliations and excellent counseling, writing, and hands-on litigation skills. Labor and employment experience is considered a plus. As an eDiscovery Associate Attorney, the successful candidate will be responsible for managing electronic discovery processes and providing legal support in litigation matters. The role requires a candidate with 3-5 years of eDiscovery experience.Duties:Conducting legal research related to eDiscovery processes and staying abreast of industry developments.Collaborating with legal teams to identify, collect, and preserve electronic evidence.Drafting and reviewing legal documents, including discovery requests, responses, and motions.Managing and coordinating the review of electronic documents and data.Providing counsel on eDiscovery best practices and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.Participating in negotiations, mediation, and court proceedings as necessary.Requirements:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Active membership in the State Bar.3-5 years of experience in eDiscovery within a legal setting.Strong understanding of electronic discovery processes and technologies.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.Familiarity with labor and employment law is a plus.Skills:Legal research and analysis.Strong litigation and counseling skills.Proficiency in electronic discovery tools and technologies.Team collaboration and interpersonal skills.
