In this role, you will provide crucial support for mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and manage various aspects of HR compliance, including U.S. and Canadian Affirmative Action and Federal Contract compliance, customer compliance management, as well as support various types of audits and certifications. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HR compliance and a deep understanding of regulatory requirements across multiple jurisdictions. This position is expected to work onsite full time.Key Responsibilities:M&A and Workforce Reduction Support:Managing employee communications for acquisitions and divestitures.Provide workforce management support, including managing impact lists and assisting with severance calculations.Conduct WARN analysis and mandatory reporting.HR Compliance:Oversee compliance reporting, including EEO, VETS, AAP, CA Pay, and OFCCP.Manage the Affirmative Action Compliance Program.Ensure state compliance certifications are up-to-date (e.g., Minnesota, Wisconsin, NY, NJ).Fulfill Canada FCP/WEIMS reporting requirements.Manage labor law postings across Broadcom sites.Support internal audits, including Agere Pension audits and I9 audits.Provide support for sales/customer trust initiatives.Assist with vendor risk management (VRM) and policy management.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; advanced degree preferred.12+ years of experience in HR compliance, HR Operations, and/or HR Projects and Programs, preferably within a large multinational organization.In-depth knowledge of U.S. and Canadian employment laws and regulations.Experience with M&A processes, including drafting communications and managing workforce impacts.Strong analytical skills with the ability to conduct complex data analysis.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Compensation and Benefits:The annual base salary range for this position is $103,000 - $182,000. This position is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus in accordance with relevant plan documents, and equity in accordance with equity plan documents and equity award agreements.Broadcom offers a competitive and comprehensive benefits package: Medical, dental and vision plans, 401(K) participation including company matching, Employee Stock Purchase Program (ESPP), Employee Assistance Program (EAP), company paid holidays, paid sick leave and vacation time.
