SHAPE THE FUTURE OF MOBILITY FROM DAY ONE.This position is part of our Signal & Power Solutions segment; Connection Systems business unit.Summary (About this Position):Aptiv is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Continuous Improvement / Maintenance Manager to join our team in Brookhaven, MS. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving continuous improvement initiatives and overseeing the maintenance operations to ensure optimal efficiency, safety, and reliability of equipment and processes.Your Role (i.e. Key Job Responsibilities):Continuous Improvement:Lead and implement continuous improvement projects using Lean, Six Sigma, and other methodologies to enhance operational efficiency, reduce costs, and improve product quality.Conduct regular process reviews, identify areas for improvement, and develop action plans to address inefficiencies.Facilitate training sessions and workshops to educate employees on continuous improvement principles and tools.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.Maintenance Management:Oversee the maintenance team to ensure timely and effective maintenance of equipment and facilities.Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend the lifespan of equipment.Coordinate with production and engineering teams to schedule maintenance activities without disrupting operations.Manage the maintenance budget, track expenses, and identify cost-saving opportunities.Safety and Compliance:Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify and mitigate potential hazards.Promote a safe working environment by providing training and enforcing safety protocols.Team Leadership:Foster a collaborative and positive work environment that encourages teamwork and innovation.Reporting and Documentation:Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment performance, and continuous improvement projects.Prepare and present reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) to senior management.Utilize data analytics to track progress and identify trends for further improvement.Your Required Background (i.e. Must Haves):Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Management, or a related field.Proven experience in continuous improvement and maintenance management roles, preferably in a manufacturing environment.Strong knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methodologies.Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and develop actionable plans.Proficiency in maintenance management software and tools.Strong organizational and project management skills.Commitment to safety and compliance standards.Your Preferred Background (i.e. Nice to Haves):Lean Six Sigma certification (Green Belt or Black Belt).Experience with Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) practices.Knowledge of automation and modern manufacturing technologies.Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry standards.Aptiv USA Rewards and AdvantagesCompetitive compensation with bonus potentialCompetitive health benefits including 401K matchLearning, professional growth and development in a world recognized international environmentDiscount programs with various manufacturers and retailersRecognition for innovation and excellenceOpportunities to give back to the communityMeaningful work that makes a difference in the worldTuition ReimbursementPaid Time-Off (Vacation, Parental Leave etc.)About Aptiv:
