As the Cash Posting Assistant for our Medical Group, you will be responsible for:Researching and processing of payments/credits, and projects in the Cash Operations UnitAuditing accounts to determine proper disbursements of payments, contractual allowances and allocationsReviewing and researching payment correction requests and process adjustments, payment corrections, transfers and refunds where applicableIdentifying, analyzing and reporting trendsProvide administrative and clerical supportSalary range:$25.60 - $36.33 Hourly
Qualifications
We are seeking a detail-oriented, self-directed professional with:Minimum 2 years of experience working in a medical office/hospital clinic setting, preferably in professional billingWorking knowledge of EPIC system to complete payment posting transactions, including payment corrections and refundsSkill in efficiently and accurately interpreting an explanation of benefits (EOB), including bulk payments.Knowledge of major medical insurance plans and types of coverage providedAbility to communicate professionally and effectivelyExcellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize assignmentsSkilled in using a PC with associated programs including Word, Excel, and Outlook
