location to support our full-stack software applications and microservices. Our world-leading Quantum Computing capabilities are driven by key software projects in our on-prem environment, as well as integrations with AWS/Azure. We need someone who can quickly leverage their skills to work on new features and updates while also helping to enhance our software stack. Develop, deploy, and maintain applications for the software stack supporting our Quantum ComputersMaintain and enhance our Kubernetes infrastructurePrepare and build observability features and processes for the cluster, such as performance metrics collection and alertingImplement new features as well as brand new software components, adhering to and enhancing best practices and testing coverageRefactor and modernize legacy software components, with an emphasis on increasing qualityCollaborate with the broader software team at Quantinuum to accomplish large-scale projects that span the software stackContinuously update and backfill key documentationPerform the responsible engineer role by driving design, execution, and delivery of projects, serving as the single point of responsibility throughout the entire project lifecycleDemo projects that are in progress to get feedback, and clearly communicate features to end usersProvide ongoing support to users ranging from answering questions to diagnosing and debugging issuesYOU MUST HAVE:

Bachelor's degree minimum6+ years of collegiate and/or industry software development experience2+ years’ experience developing enterprise grade software3+ years of post-graduate experience with Python, Go, or other microservices-friendly programming language3+ years of post-graduate experience designing and implementing user interfacesDue to Contractual requirements, must be a U.S. Citizen, permanent resident or green card holderWE VALUE:

Advanced degree (Master's/PhD) in Computer Science or related fieldExperience using modern cloud development tools for container orchestration, such as GCP, in Amazon Web Services (AWS) and AzureDemonstrated experience in microservice architecture and development, as well as full-stack developmentProven ability to solve complex problems and clearly document and communicate solutionsExpertise in working with diverse data representations and data structuresExperience integrating hardware and software components, especially in fast-paced or laboratory environmentsProficiency with container/image technologies like Docker or VagrantStrong skills in software testing and deployment toolsExperience developing code interfacing with laboratory equipment, including sensors and controllersKnowledge of back-end server infrastructure, including queues, messaging, and databasesProficiency in developing software for Linux, Docker, and similar environmentsStrong documentation practices and commitment to maintaining up-to-date documentationExcellent communication skills, especially in explaining technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders$124,000 - $175,000 a year

Compensation & Benefits:

Range posted is inclusive of bonus target when applicable

Estimated Salary Wage: $125,000 - $175,000 Annually
