location.Key Responsibilities:
Apply previous experience in research to help develop quantum computers using trapped ions as qubitsResponsible for working in a research environment to analyze quantum computing protocols, such as quantum error correction or quantum algorithmsPresent scientific results at meetings or in publicationsYOU MUST HAVE:
Currently enrolled in a PhD programGraduating after December 2024Due to Contractual requirements, must be a U.S. person (defined as, U.S. citizen permanent resident or green card holder, workers granted asylum or refugee status)WE VALUE:
2+ years’ experience (PhD inclusive) involving one or more of the following areas: quantum information, quantum computing, quantum algorithms.Experience with constructing quantum circuitsExperience performing simulation and modeling to inform experimentsExcellent written and oral communication skills, with published results within their field of research$40 - $45 an hour
