THE OPPORTUNITY:
The Pink Church began a new contemporary service in September 2024. It is a young and growing service engineered to reach the nearly 400 families who attend our church's preschool (Imagination Station) and K-8 school (Lighthouse Christian), in addition to our community at-large. Our worship leader leads a full band (percussion, guitar, keys, bass, vocalists) to help shape the content and experience of this worshiping community, and to influence growth in this 9:30am Sunday worship service.THE POSITION:
This part time (15-20 hours per week) staff position at the Pink Church includes competitive compensation and a ministry expense account. Work hours are flexible, aside from Sunday mornings. The Contemporary Worship Leader works directly with the Senior Pastor and other music and tech ministry associates as part of the program staff.QUALIFICATIONS:
The qualified candidate will have a maturing relationship with Jesus Christ, a pastoral heart, ability and passion for leading worship, a teachable spirit, and works well with others. Relevant ministry experience is required and a bachelor's degree is desired.CORE COMPETENCIES:
Important competencies include the relational ability to connect well with others, technical acumen (audio, visual, lighting, and instrumentation), organizational and administrative skills (e.g. use of Planning Center), band member recruiting, team building, as well as vocal and musical instrument leadership ability.
