VP - IT Infrastructure Production Support (Financial Services)

Save jobMy reputable client is recruiting for a strong leader to help lead the operations team into a modernized and agile support environment, being a key player in the operational automation and cloud adoption journey.What you'll do:Develop short-term and long-term operational transformation strategies and action plans and manage the execution of the transformation.Perform operational process reengineering, gap analysis, and identify enhancement opportunities, including the introduction of automated workflow and process management systems or tools.Continually expand IT operations scope of work, such as Cloud, DevOps, Infrastructure, Security, and Application level 1 and level 2 supports, in addition to system operations.Ensure effective and efficient management of day-to-day IT operations, 7/24 shift arrangement, and multi-site operations including China and overseas.Develop and maintain operational KPIs and follow SLAs.In charge of major incidents and coordinate IT resources in resolving problems according to established IT incident and problem management procedures.Responsible for establishing IT incident and problem management procedures.What you bring:Extensive IT Operation Management experience in complex and integrated environments.At least 10 years of working experience in IT systems, application, infrastructure, and data centre operations, including at least 5 years in a managerial capacity.Experience in the financial services industry or other highly regulated organizations is preferred.Strong knowledge of ITIL processes, Lean, and Six Sigma, with skills and experience in process re-engineering and IT operations management (ITOM) solutions.Share perspectives on Shift-left operational transformation.Understanding of international IT standards and best practices, including but not limited to ISO 20000, 27001, and ITIL.Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese.
