www.ucihealth.org .Your Role on the TeamPosition Summary:Incumbent is responsible for managing and coordinating all technical therapeutic and related work in Radiation Oncology, multispecialty suite, front and back office staff.Essential Job Functions:The identification of essential functions below is not intended to be an exhaustive list of all duties that may be assigned to this position.Leadership/Management: Develops and implements strategic plans, unit/department goals and objectives; complies with all policies/procedures; communicates effectively; creates a safe work environment; allocates and prioritizes work monitoring performance standards.Identifies and implements initiatives aimed at improving engagement and follows through on developmental opportunities.Develops and executes short- and long-term goals for the department.Collaborates effectively with clinical and administrative leadership, physicians, nurses, and other staff.Assures high patient satisfaction and serves as a role model for excellent service.What It Takes to be SuccessfulRequired Qualifications:Must possess the skill, knowledge and ability essential to the successful performance of assigned duties.Five (5) years work experience in an acute care radiation oncology environment.Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.Bachelor's degree in Healthcare administration or related field.Preferred Qualifications:Previous supervisory experience.Experience in radiation therapy residents training programs.Conditions of Employment:The University of California, Irvine (UCI) seeks to provide a safe and healthy environment for the entire UCI community.Closing Statement:The University of California, Irvine is an
