Position Summary:
Incumbent is responsible for daily patient treatments & procedures in the linear accelerator, NOMOS, and simulator rooms of Radiation Oncology. Responsibilities include scheduling patients, taking port films, reviewing treatment plans, operating radiation therapy equipment, documenting patient treatment, billing, and notifying physicians and physicists of any concerns.What It Takes to be Successful
Required Qualifications:
Proven ability to safely and accurately operate radiation therapy equipment, linear accelerators, simulators and computersMust possess ARRT/CRT in Radiation TherapyExcellent written and verbal communication skills in EnglishCurrent BLS certificationA minimum of one year experience working as a Radiation TherapistPreferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of University and medical center organizationsBilingual skills in English and Spanish and/or VietnameseConditions of Employment:
