Position Summary:Incumbent is responsible for the coordination of daily patient activities in Radiation Oncology. Schedules and takes port films on all patients, reviews results with physicians, documents findings and makes necessary corrections. Responsible for changing technique factor due to patient's size and condition. Responsible for the maintenance and operation of radiographic equipment, including automatic film processors and quality control equipment. Maintains films and medical records, including purging of files. Carries out and records orders as required by physician prescriptions.What It Takes to be Successful

Required Qualifications:Proven ability to safely and accurately operate radiation therapy equipment, linear accelerators, simulators and computersMust possess the skill, knowledge and ability essential to the successful performance of assigned dutiesMust possess ARRT/CRT in Radiation TherapyMust demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the jobExcellent written and verbal communication skills in EnglishDemonstrated knowledge of radiation oncology procedures, radiation physics, radiobiology, radiation protection, anatomy and positioningCurrent BLS certificationAbility to work 'on-call' rotationAbility to work variable shifts including weekends and holidaysAbility to maintain flexibility and work well in a constantly changing environmentAbility to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workloadAbility to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the Health SystemA minimum of one year experience working as a Radiation TherapistPreferred Qualifications:Knowledge of University and medical center organizations, policies, procedures and formsExperience in computer informatics/networking associated with radiation oncology practicesBilingual skills in English and Spanish and/or VietnameseConditions of Employment:Background Check and Live ScanLegal Right to Work in the United StatesVaccination PoliciesSmoking and Tobacco PolicyDrug Free EnvironmentThe following additional conditions may apply, some of which are dependent upon business unit or job specific requirements.California Child Abuse and Neglect Reporting ActE-VerifyPre-Placement Health EvaluationDetails of each policy may be reviewed by visiting the following page:
