is seeking a
Lead Network Engineer
who will be responsible for senior-level management and maintenance of networking environment and computer systems. This position is hybrid with a minimum of 3 days at the customer site in Suitland, MD.Responsibilities and Qualifications:Provide oversight of administration and maintenance of network infrastructure and computer systems.Establish best practices for active maintenance and future growth.Responsible for the design, planning, implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of the company's network infrastructure and architecture.Design and implement voice, data, and transport systems.Apply advanced troubleshooting and problem solving to complex network problems.Collaborate with others for active maintenance and future growth.Maintain network infrastructure components, protocols, and security best practices.Evaluate communication hardware and software.Troubleshoot LAN/MAN/WAN and other network-related problems.Provide technical expertise for performance and configuration of networks.Provide technical leadership in the integration and testing of complex large scale computer integrated networks.Schedule conversions and cutovers and provide oversight of the network control center.Supervise the maintenance of systems; coordinates with all responsible users and sites; and supervises staff.Design major network solutions; coordinates work on subsystems; oversees the integration of new network devices; which increases efficiency and/or reduces costs.Evaluate new procedures, equipment, and appliances to determine their usefulness and applicability to operations.Assist in developing systems analysis standards and provides consultative direction to Infrastructure designs, Network engineering and planning and scheduling of projects.Requirements:Must be a U.S. Citizen.Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or equivalent years of experience.Minimum eight years of related experience, four of which must be in a supervisory role.Ability to hold a National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI) clearance.Government contracting and program management experience.Must be customer-centric with a successful history in understanding/addressing customer needs and concerns to provide innovative, efficient, sustainable solutions for the program.Strong aptitude to perform troubleshooting, testing, scripting, coding, and demonstrate solid leadership abilities.Solid ability to translate technical and/or non-technical requirements into specific systems, applications or process designs for complex Network systems, solutions, and integrating architecture.Demonstrated ability and experience managing multiple enterprise technical environments efficiently and effectively.Strong networking, relationship building and communication skills.Excellent analytical, interpersonal, writing, and presentation skills.High standards of Ethics/Integrity.
