is seeking a
Senior System Administrator (Network Security)
who will be responsible for securing network and associated systems for the United States Census Bureau and customer organizations. This role will include:This position is hybrid with a minimum of 3 days at the customer site in Suitland, MD.Responsibilities:Install new software releases and system upgrades.Evaluate and install patches.Resolve software related problems.Perform system backups and recovery.Maintain data files and monitor system configuration to ensure data integrity.Create and/or update security infrastructure and monitor networks for unauthorized access or suspicious activities.Work with team members to stay connected and keep work devices secure while working online.Design and operate a training program, Service Level Agreements (SLA’s), and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) to help employees understand cybersecurity measures and best practices.Work under general supervision and have the ability to lead or direct team members as needed.Requirements:Must be a U.S. Citizen.Bachelor’s Degree in a related field and a minimum of eight years of relevant experience with at least four years in a supervisory role.Ability to hold a National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI) clearance.Government contracting and program management experience.Must be customer-centric with a successful history in understanding/addressing customer needs and concerns to provide innovative, efficient, sustainable solutions for the program.Ability to work independently.Demonstrated ability and experience managing multiple enterprise technical environments efficiently and effectively.A high degree of creativity and latitude is required.Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.Strong networking, relationship building, and communication skills.Excellent analytical, interpersonal, writing, and presentation skills.High standards of Ethics/Integrity.LTS
