Essential Duties:

Promote the vision, direction, and coordination for all aspects of the district's Leadership Academy (LeadershipDevelopment Program), ensuring a healthy pipeline of school and district leaders for HCS.Provide leadership, supervision, management, facilitation, training, and implementation of the district's LeadershipAcademy.Plan and lead differentiated professional learning experiences for cohort participants.Collaborate with appropriate school and district office leaders and external leadership consultants to gather and provide additional resources to address cohort participants' needs.Effectively develop and maintain a fiscally sound budget that addresses leadership development needs for all cohorts.Network with thought leaders in the area of leadership development to continually bring best practices to the district.Build leadership capacity of cohort participants.Demonstrate the ability to develop and deliver programming that drives improved academic performance at the school and district levels.Pursue, as appropriate, grants and other funding sources to continually support the growth and development of the Leadership Academy.Supervise and direct Leadership Performance Coaches and assign responsibilities based on the coaching needs of cohort participants.Assist with new Principal and Assistant Principal onboarding and induction activitiesLead the induction program for new Principals and Assistant Principal cohortsPerform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.Qualifications:

Minimum of a Bachelor's degree, required; Master's degree and/or Georgia Educator Certification, preferred.Prior school-level or district office administrative experience, required.Ability to work well with teachers, school administrative teams, and district office leadership.Must possess a proven track record of building and maintaining strong professional relationships.Exceptional integrity, commitment to confidentiality, excellent character, and strong professional reputation.Ability to abide by the Georgia Professional Standards Code of Ethics for Educators.Must be regularly, predictably, and reliably at work.Ability to be present at the physical worksite.Must perform tasks involving prolonged periods of standing, walking, and sitting.Must perform routine physical activities such as bending and lifting/pushing/pulling up to 50 pounds.Vision, hearing, written, and verbal communications are essential factors in performing required tasks.
