Full-Time Tenure-Track Faculty: Business Analytics & Information Systems
The School of Business at Quinnipiac University invites applications for two full-time tenure-track positions as Assistant Professor of Business Analytics and Information Systems (BAIS) with an expected start date of Fall 2025. Priority will be given to applicants with backgrounds in Business Analytics, Artificial Intelligence, and Machine Learning. However, candidates will be expected to teach courses in the more traditional areas as needed.BAIS faculty are expected to teach in both traditional classroom and online modalities, and to incorporate innovative pedagogical approaches into their teaching. You will be involved in research, teaching, and knowledge transfer/impact in the field of BAIS, broadly defined. The faculty of the BAIS Department have diverse research interests, covering a wide range of topics including Artificial Intelligence, Blockchain, Healthcare Analytics, Future of Work, Cybersecurity, and IS Curriculum.Please note: This is an in-person position located on our Mt. Carmel campus, Hamden, CT.Responsibilities:Develop and teach high quality, innovative, and experientially oriented courses both on ground and online in the various sub-domains of Business Analytics and Information Systems. Prepare and deliver engaging course content and classroom activities. Compile, administer, and grade assignments/examinations in a timely fashion.Conduct and maintain an active research agenda that results in quality journal publications.Contribute active and engaged service to the department, school, and university.Provide high quality academic advising and mentorship to students.Contribute to the support of the department’s student recruitment and retention efforts.Contribute to the overall supportive culture of the School of Business by participating in workshops, retreats, and other relevant activities.Education Requirements:PhD or DBA in Information Technology, Computer Information Systems, Business Analytics, or a closely related field from an AACSB accredited Business School or a research-oriented program.
