The Counselor will provide individual, group and family therapy for assigned patients, as required by contractual and licensure obligations. In tandem with our multidisciplinary team, you are entrusted to ensure that the highest degree of quality care will always be provided to our patients.THE MUST HAVES:Current, unencumbered, active substance abuse or mental health licensure to practice as a Counselor in the state where treatment services are rendered, at hire and for the entire duration of employment.Master’s Degree of Mental Health, Social Sciences or commensurate experience required.SUDP required; LMHC, LICSW, or LMFT preferred. License-eligible individuals are encouraged to inquire about opportunities for those working towards licensure.Current and nationally accredited CPR/First Aid/AED certification.Knowledge of computer and EMR systems.Must be at least twenty-one (21) years of age.Enthusiasm, passion for working with people, and internal drive to improve the lives of individuals in our care.We love new grads! However, two (2) years of experience as a Counselor with one (1) year of outpatient experience would really dazzle us!Ability to pass a criminal background check as well as professional reference checks.Ability to stand, walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle, feel, reach, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, talk, and hear.Job Type: PRN StatusCompensation:$36.00 to $48.00 per hour.Premium starting pay for PRN status.Professional Development:Northpoint provides reimbursement for clinical licensure fees.Northpoint provides clinical supervision for licensure at no cost to the employee.Professional development, and the opportunity for continuing education credits to maintain licensure is provided at no cost to the employee.PRN Benefits Include:Generous Paid Time Off plan.Consumer discounts through LifeMart.Free parking!Ability to Commute/Relocate:Edmonds, Washington; reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (Required).
