The Counselor will provide individual, group and family therapy for assigned patients, as required by contractual and licensure obligations. In tandem with our multidisciplinary team, you are entrusted to ensure that the highest degree of quality care will always be provided to our patients. Our clinical staff have a unique opportunity for professional growth and make a significant difference in the lives of many through their work with diverse patient population.THE MUST HAVES:Master’s Degree of Mental Health, Social Sciences or commensurate experience requiredCurrent, unencumbered, active mental health licensure to practice as a Counselor in the state where treatment services are rendered, at hire and for the entire duration of employmentLMHC, LMHCA, LICSW, LIACSW, LMFT, LMFTA, or SUDP required. License-eligible individuals are encouraged to inquire about opportunities for those working towards licensureCurrent and nationally accredited CPR/First Aid/AED certificationKnowledge of computer and EMR systemsMust be at least twenty-one (21) years of ageEnthusiasm, passion for working with people, and internal drive to improve the lives of individuals in our careWe love new grads! However, two (2) years of experience as a Counselor with one (1) year of outpatient experience would really dazzle us!!Ability to pass a criminal background check as well as professional reference checksAbility to stand, walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle, feel, reach, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, talk, and hearJob Type: PRNCompensation:$32.00 to $45.00 per hourProfessional Development:Northpoint provides reimbursement for clinical licensure feesNorthpoint provides clinical supervision for licensure at no cost to the employeeProfessional development, and the opportunity for continuing education credits to maintain licensure is provided at no cost to the employeePart-Time Benefits Include:Generous Paid Time Off planFree Parking!Ability to Commute/Relocate:Seattle, Washington; reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (Required)
