Adolescent Program DirectorNorthpoint Recovery Holdings, LLC, established in 2009, is a growing behavioral healthcare treatment platform treating adults with substance use disorder and co-occurring conditions under the Northpoint Recovery brand and adolescents with mental healthcare conditions under the Imagine by Northpoint brand. The Company serves patients with commercial health insurance and is an in-network model. Northpoint has grown from two facilities to fifteen today entirely on a de novo basis with plans to expand rapidly in both existing and new markets. As a key member of the Northpoint team, the Adolescent Therapist/Counselor will oversee the therapeutic services provided to a caseload of clients. This individual will act as the treatment plan coordinator for the multi-disciplinary team in the development and implementation of the master treatment plan and the discharge plan for each client. The Adolescent Therapist/Counselor will provide individual, group, and family therapy for assigned clients, as required by contractual and licensure obligations. This person will actively communicate with support staff, treatment teams, and outside agencies on treatment and safety issues pertaining to clients and their family members. The Adolescent Therapist/Counselor will complete all documentation associated with these duties in a professional and timely manner.ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:Provide counseling, assessments, and group facilitation to individuals and families.Coordinate all aspects of direct clinical care from admission to discharge.Consult with the multidisciplinary treatment team to provide quality client care.Provide orientation and education to clients, families, and others to aid in the therapeutic process.Collaborate with assigned clients in the development of written treatment plans; include client and family involvement in assessment, treatment, education, and discharge planning.Monitor clients on an ongoing basis to continually assess needs and facilitate treatment and interventions.Document clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment plan, diagnostic summaries, and progress charting in a timely manner to assure comprehensive and quality client care.Actively participate as a member of the multidisciplinary treatment team and maintain effective working relationships with employees and peers.Maintain professional boundaries with clients at all times.Oversee and participate in the quality assurance and compliance activities of the facility.Provide clinical updates to utilization review and representatives of managed care to best coordinate reimbursement of treatment services.Coordinate with community-based providers and referral sources to ensure optimal levels of care and treatment outcomes, post-discharge.Case staffing and individual case supervision.Facilitate individual and group therapy.Maintain confidentiality in accordance with established policies and procedures and standards of care.Other clinically appropriate services and special projects as assigned.QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS FOR POSITION:Master’s Degree of Social Sciences or commensurate experience required.Must hold an active mental health licensure in the state where treatment services are rendered.Must maintain applicable state licensure requirements at hire and for the entire duration of employment.Minimum of 1 (one) year experience in the relevant field.Ability to work with a diverse population and possess strong interpersonal skills and knowledge required for treating adolescent clients assigned.Must hold strong personal boundaries and be able to build rapport with patients.Must understand and adhere to the ethical standards of the respective licensure governing board.PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:Excellent organizational abilities.Excellent written and oral communication skills.Attention to detail and accuracy.Client service oriented (both internal and external).Creative and persistent problem solver.Able to handle confidential material in a reliable manner.Ability to interact and communicate with individuals at all levels of the organization.Strong interpersonal skills to handle sensitive situations and confidential information.Ability to multi-task and prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment.Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and EMR systems.REQUIRED CERTIFICATES/LICENSES/REGISTRATIONS:Must hold an active mental health licensure in the state where treatment services are rendered, at hire and throughout the entire duration of employment.LICSW, LICWA, LMHC, LMHCA, or LMFT required.Must be at least twenty-one (21) years of age.Must maintain current nationally accredited CPR/First Aid/AED certification.Must have a valid driver’s license and safe driving record.PAY RANGE:
