Fluency in Spanish is required, and the candidate will handle a broad range of immigration issues, including asylum laws, immigration courts, and border enforcement.Key Responsibilities:Work with the Immigration department to handle litigation and legal advocacy across various immigration issues, such as asylum laws, right to counsel, immigration courts, and border enforcement.Coordinate case and legal strategies, ensuring efficient management of multiple cases and deadlines.Prepare and revise court documents, including motions, briefs, and memoranda.Conduct legal research and stay updated on legislative changes and judicial case law affecting immigration.Represent clients in court hearings and trials, ensuring thorough preparation and effective advocacy.Market the law firm's immigration services to potential clients and stakeholders.Manage all aspects of case preparation and presentation, from initial filings through final resolution.Collaborate with team members to develop and execute comprehensive legal strategies.Requirements:Minimum of 1 year of experience in immigration law, with a preference for candidates with experience in other legal fields who wish to transition to immigration litigation.Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.Excellent business acumen and the ability to thrive in a high-growth, fast-paced practice environment.Fluent in Spanish.J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school (required).Active Bar License in good standing from any U.S. State or Puerto Rico (required).Education and Certifications:Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school.Active Bar License in good standing from any U.S. State or Puerto Rico.Skills:Expertise in immigration law and litigation procedures.Proficient in preparing and revising legal documents, including motions, briefs, and memoranda.Strong legal research and writing abilities.Ability to manage multiple cases and adhere to strict deadlines.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.Fluent in Spanish.Business acumen and marketing skills to promote the firm's services.Experience:At least 1 year of experience in immigration law or related legal fields.
