Immigration Attorney

A law firm in Albany, NY, is seeking a dedicated, experienced Immigration Attorney to join their team. The ideal candidate will possess broad experience in employment-based immigration cases and demonstrate exceptional client service, writing, and case management skills. The role requires a proactive individual passionate about providing outstanding legal support and navigating complex immigration matters.Duties:Handle a diverse caseload of employment-based immigration matters, including labor certifications, EB-1 petitions, nonimmigrant visa petitions, and J-1 waiver applications.Provide clients with expert legal advice and guidance on immigration matters and strategies.Draft and review legal documents, including petitions, applications, and supporting evidence.Manage client relationships with a focus on excellent service and clear communication.Stay updated on changes in immigration laws and policies to provide informed legal counsel.Collaborate with other attorneys and support staff to ensure comprehensive case management.Represent clients in interactions with government agencies and during proceedings as necessary.Maintain accurate and organized case files and documentation.Requirements:3-10 years of experience in immigration law, with a strong focus on employment-based cases.Demonstrated ability to manage a high volume of cases effectively and efficiently.Exceptional writing skills, with the ability to draft clear and persuasive legal documents.Proven client service skills, with a track record of successful client interactions and satisfaction.Enthusiastic and proactive approach to client service and case management.Education:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Certifications:Licensed to practice law in the state of New York.Skills:Expertise in employment-based immigration law and procedures.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent oral and written communication abilities.Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.Proficient in legal research and case management software.High attention to detail and organizational skills.Job Location:Albany, NY
