We are seeking a Software Tool Engineer II
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Design and implement secure and scalable DNS, DHCP, and IPAM (DDI) solutions using infoblox DDI.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex DDI issues.
Automate DDI workflows to improve efficiency.
Provide technical expertise and guidance to internal teams on all aspects of DDI, including iPv4 and IPv6.
Stay up to date with the latest Infoblox DDI features and best practices.
Required Qualifications:
DoD8570-M, IAT Level 1
Ability to obtain PRIVAC and SYS3
Experience with DNS, DHCP, IPAM, Load Balancing (F5/DTC)
Knowledge of login management
Familiar with outages, latency issues, & troubleshooting
Proven experience designing and implementing DDI solutions
Experience with load balancing technologies
Strong understanding of networking concepts, including IPv4 and IPv6
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Experience with scripting and automation tools a plus
Preferred Qualifications:
DNS experience with an understanding of maintenance of infoblox
Experience with infoblox trouble tickets
In-depth knowledge of infoblox DDI (DNS, DHCP, IPAM)
Position requires an active TS/SCI with Polygraph level clearance. US citizenship is required.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in computer science or related discipline
4 years of additional SWE experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor's degree
7 years' experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope is required
