The Business Services Director provides accounting expertise and oversees the fiscal, human resources, and client services in the Collaborative for Student Achievement. This position collaborates closely with Assessment and Technology leadership and provides infrastructure for 66 full-time staff and roughly 170 student staff.Required Job Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field5 years of professional business operations experience, including at least two years of progressive budget planning experienceExperience supervising professional staffDemonstrated understanding of internal controls and experience working with databases, data queries, and reporting toolsUnderstanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)Demonstrated high-level communication skillsStrong organizational and complex problem-solving skillsDemonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusionPreferred Job Qualifications:Masters or MBA with a concentration in finance, accounting, or related advanced degreeCPA or CMA Professional certificationUnderstanding of Fund Accounting and Governmental Accounting Standards (GASB)Ability to supervise staff with a wide variety of roles and responsibilitiesEffective leadership skillsSpecial Instructions to Applicants:
