The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive fundraising strategies to meet revenue goals, overseeing processes such as grant applications and special events, and expanding the donor base. This role requires a strong focus on goal setting, a proven track record in engaging with Board members, and a passion for the arts with a history of fundraising for non-profit organizations, particularly in the performing arts sector. As the Head of Development, the chosen candidate will also be expected to provide vision and direction for long-term financial sustainability, sit on the senior leadership team, and work closely with the Executive Director, Artistic Director, and Marketing Director. Key responsibilities include board and donor relations, strategic leadership, and team management. The ideal candidate will have experience in post-pandemic stability strategies, exhibit empathy, kindness, diplomacy, and humor in the workplace, and demonstrate a commitment to exceptional donor service and stewardship.
