A law firm in Boston, MA, is seeking a Complex Disputes Associate Attorney with 3-5 years of litigation experience to join its team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in probate, trust, and fiduciary litigation and proven skills in managing complex civil cases. This role involves significant legal research, discovery, and courtroom practice responsibilities.Duties:Conduct comprehensive legal research and analysis on complex probate, trust, and fiduciary litigation matters.Manage all aspects of discovery practice, including depositions, written discovery, and large-scale document production (including electronic discovery).Assist in courtroom proceedings, including motion practice and trial work (primarily as second chair).Supervise and coordinate the work of support staff, including paralegals.Prepare legal documents, briefs, and motions, ensuring accuracy and adherence to legal standards.Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing exceptional client service and strategic legal counsel.Collaborate with senior attorneys and participate in case strategy meetings and discussions.Requirements:3-5 years of litigation experience focusing on probate, trust, and fiduciary litigation.Massachusetts State Bar admission is required.Demonstrated experience in complex civil litigation, including discovery, document management, and courtroom practice.Strong academic credentials and exceptional writing skills.Excellent judgment and communication abilities.Education:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Certifications:Admission to the Massachusetts State Bar.Skills:Expertise in complex civil litigation, including probate, trust, and fiduciary matters.Proficiency in legal research and document management, including electronic discovery.Strong courtroom skills, including motion practice and trial support.Ability to supervise and lead support staff effectively.Superior judgment, analytical skills, and attention to detail.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Commitment to providing high-quality client service.
