True Classic Head of Operations Remote, California Apply NowWe are seeking an exceptional Head of Operations to drive efficiency and excellence across True Classic's operations. In this role, you will lead and optimize our processes, focusing on cost reduction, operational effectiveness, and seamless product delivery. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in supply chain management and operations within an omnichannel, global retail environment, and be comfortable thriving in a fast-paced, high-growth setting. Key Areas of Accountability

Recruitment & Development:

Hire and onboard top talent for internal teams and external partners, ensuring they align with the company culture and values.

Team Motivation:

Develop and implement strategies to foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment, encouraging innovation and continuous improvement.

Partnership Management:

Build strong & mutually-beneficial relationships with external partners (e.g., 3PLs, product vendors, consultants, SaaS partners, off-shore resources) to ensure alignment with True Classic's goals and priorities.

Supply Chain Management:

Procurement:

Oversee sourcing and supplier management to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery of product goods.

Sustainability & Compliance:

Ensure all supply chain activities adhere to environmental, social, and governance (ESG) standards, and comply with all relevant regulations and certifications.

Risk Management & Contingency Planning:

Develop and implement strategies to identify, assess, and mitigate risks across the supply chain, including geopolitical, economic, and environmental factors.

Logistics:

Inbound Transportation:

Coordinate closely with suppliers and transportation providers to optimize inbound delivery schedules, manage costs, ensure compliance, and maintain real-time tracking for proactive issue resolution.

Global Warehousing & Fulfillment:

Oversee global warehouse operations to maximize efficiency, accuracy, and capacity, utilizing advanced technologies to streamline order fulfillment and maintain inventory integrity.

Outbound Transportation:

Select and manage carriers to ensure cost-effective, timely deliveries, leveraging route optimization and performance monitoring to meet customer expectations.

Internal Transfers/Transportation:

Ensure internal inventory transfers are executed in a timely and efficient manner.

Reverse Logistics:

Develop customer-friendly return processes, focusing on efficient handling, refurbishment, and value recovery from returned goods, minimizing financial and environmental impact.

Project Management Office (PMO):

Strategic Project Oversight:

Lead the PMO in managing key cross-functional projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.

Process Documentation & Optimization:

Audit, document, and optimize all True Classic processes to enable the company to operate efficiently & effectively as we continue to scale.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Coordinate with other departments to align project goals with overall business strategy and ensure successful project execution.

Central Inventory Management (CIM):

Real-Time Inventory Visibility:

Implement and maintain systems that provide real-time, accurate inventory data across all distribution centers, ensuring informed decision-making and reducing stock discrepancies.

Inventory Audits & Compliance:

Regularly conduct inventory audits and ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards, reducing the risk of shrinkage and improving overall accuracy.

Inventory Processes & Tech Integrations:

Streamline and automate inventory management processes through the integration of advanced technologies and software solutions, enhancing efficiency, accuracy, and scalability across all operations.

Qualification Requirements

Strong leadership and team-building skills.

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Management, or a related field.

MBA or advanced degree preferred.

Minimum of 10 years of experience in operations and supply chain management.

Proven track record in leading and managing large-scale operations.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent project management and organizational abilities.

Experience with supply chain management software and systems.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Skills and Competencies

Experience in Consumer/Retail operations and supply chain.

Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools.

Knowledge of international supply chain management.
