Clinical Program Director

Horizon Health is seeking a Clinical Program Director to oversee the Behavioral Health Program at ThedaCare Regional Center in Neenah, WI. This unit is a 19 bed inpatient psych unit. Included in these responsibilities are: 1) the development and maintenance of a high-quality treatment program; 2) the development and implementation of a comprehensive community relations program; and 3) strategic planning, program administration, and development. The Program Director will provide supervision to Program Horizon employed clinical and administrative staff.Responsibilities:

Performs as liaison between Program, Hospital and Horizon; communicating information and needs appropriatelySupports Hospital and Horizon missions, goals and objectivesProvides leadership and direction in accordance with Hospital guidelinesProvides clinical supervision for Program nursing, counseling, patient support and administrative staffDevelops, in coordination with assigned VP, Clinical Practice, implements and updates all policies and procedures for the ProgramIn coordination with the Hospital, ensures the Program meets and maintains all federal, state, local and accrediting bodies' regulations and standardsParticipates in assessing and reassessing the program needs of the patientSupervises all patient care and sets guidelines for accurately reporting and recording of patient symptoms, reactions, and progressDevelops processes to audit and coordinate ongoing education to ensure all staff are trained on proper documentation of all aspects of the patient's careRecruits, interviews, and selects qualified staff for the ProgramProvides for professional growth and development of staff through identification of needs, development of individual training plans and participation in training programsDefines goals and objectives of the treatment program under the direction of hospital administration and Horizon leadersCollaborates with medical and clinical staff in coordinating and managing the medical and psychosocial treatment plansSupervises patient care and set guidelines for accurately reporting and recordingMaintain patient privacyAssure quality of careQualifications

Active RN license; BSN desiredPost Graduate Degree preferredCPR, BLS, ACLSBenefit Highlights:
