Full-Time, Non-ExemptLocation:FLSA Classification:POSITION SUMMARYWe seek a dynamic and creative Marketing Communications Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about using storytelling and communications to advance social justice. They will need a keen eye for detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. This role will contribute to developing and implementing communication strategies to enhance our organization’s visibility and engagement with our target audience.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSContribute to and implement comprehensive marketing and communication plans to support NHS’s strategic goals and programmatic activities.Manage social media accounts, including content creation, scheduling, engagement, and analytics. Create and post compelling content that builds engagement with various NHS audiences.Develop content and messaging for e-newsletters, the website, and other promotional materials in alignment with the NHS brand.Monitor internal requests for marketing and communications services.Maintain the accuracy of email marketing lists.Track and analyze the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, adjusting strategies as needed to achieve set goals.Provide communications support for program events, workshops, and community outreach activities.Work with graphic designers and other vendors to produce high-quality marketing materials.Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistent messaging and branding across all communications.SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES REQUIRED2-3 years of experience in marketing, communications, or public relations.Experience with graphic design software, including Canva and/or Adobe Creative Suite.Strong creative writing and verbal communication skills.Strong project management and problem-solving skills.Experience using Hubspot marketing software, preferred.Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.Strong interpersonal and rapport-building skills.Professional presentation and demeanor.Excellent attention to detail.Familiarity with Baltimore communities preferred.Commitment to working as a team member to meet overall NHS objectives.Strong commitment to organizational mission and values.TECHNICAL SKILLSProficiency in using social media platforms and digital marketing tools to increase engagement.EDUCATIONBachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, public relations or a related field.MANAGEMENT/SUPERVISOR RESPONSIBILITIESThis position does not have supervisory responsibilities.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORK ENVIRONMENTThis job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, smartphones, office phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear.
