Full-time Pharmaceutical / Biotech Exp: 2-5 yrs Degree: Bachelor’s Relo: Yes Bonus: Yes Occasional Travel: Yes Job Description: We are looking for a product marketing professional to join our fast-paced Molecular Pathology Marketing team. This is your opportunity to join the team that's bringing differentiated new products and workflow solutions to the molecular pathology market to help our customers introduce cutting-edge molecular tools into their current clinical pathology workflows. As a member of this high-performing team, your product management role will further advance the success of the molecular pathology solutions with your initial focus on workflow solutions that include our Next-gen sequencing products. Responsibilities: Conduct market and competitive analysis to define trends and strategically evaluate new market opportunities and work with others in the marketing team to identify products that can enhance customer workflows. Work cross-functionally with diverse teams and complex product and application areas, including research use only (RUO) and diagnostic (CE IVD, Class I, II, III) product families to develop comprehensive messaging and product synergies. Define pricing strategy, product messaging, positioning, and configuration to ensure optimal performance versus business goals for current and future products using market research and customer feedback. Drive product requirements based on market, customer, and regulatory requirements. Collaborate with customers and key opinion leaders to generate proof of concept data and penetrate key application areas for cancer. Partner with cross-functional leaders from other groups including marketing from other business units, engineering, application development, manufacturing, and sales to achieve business objectives. Work with global program managers to develop programs and customer-focused collateral for your products. Develop and deliver sales training that enables the sales team to position your products and explain their benefits to our current and future customers. Manage your product line through the entire product life cycle. Create and give presentations at conferences, workshops, and customer sites. Qualifications: Bachelor’s, Master’s, or higher degree in biology, molecular biology, molecular genetics, or a related discipline plus a minimum of 5 years product management experience, with typically 3-5 years practical experience in the clinical research or diagnostics field. Additional Required Qualifications: Experience with Product Management/Marketing of genomics or pathology clinical tools with specific experience with genomics and next-gen sequencing products in life sciences or clinical markets with a focus on cancer. Clear understanding of customer workflows within these markets and focus areas. Marketing in diagnostics or clinical research experience preferred. Strong organizational skills with the ability to set priorities based on alignment with business goals and strategic direction. Proven ability to work collaboratively with sales and marketing professionals across the organization to develop effective market strategies and programs. Experience in working with worldwide customers and being a strong internal advocate for customer-focused solutions. Must exhibit strategic thinking, teamwork, creativity, planning and execution skills backed by strong analytical and decision-making. Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills. Must have flexibility in working hours and be available for 25% national & international business travel. IDEAL CANDIDATE: Travel is about 25%.
