Hologic is seeking an outstanding candidate to play a critical role in our diagnostics division as the

Sr. Product Manager, Molecular Instrumentation . This individual will be responsible for upstream and downstream product marketing activities to support the molecular instrumentation franchise. Collaborates globally and cross-functionally to meet strategic objectives and ensure/maintain commercial success of the molecular automation portfolio. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Develop and execute marketing strategies to achieve or exceed the business goals and objectives for the molecular automation franchise. Act as the commercial subject matter expert for molecular diagnostic instrumentation, with the ability to effectively communicate the value proposition to internal resources, sales team, and customers. Build a deep understanding of Hologic’s molecular automation, including customer needs, market atlas, market trends, technology trends, and competition. Conduct market segmentation, monitor competitive landscape, and create targeted message campaigns. Build relationships with KOLs and key customers. Manage forecast and Opex budget for assigned product lines. Support sales training and/or train commercial teams on products and competition. Perform product presentations and demos to customers, VIPs, and investors. Work with customers and field to gather VOC to understand customer needs and translate them into product requirements or enhancements. Identify, rationalize, and execute growth opportunities for product franchises. Develop and execute competitive strategies based on thorough competitive intelligence and market analysis. Oversee product lifecycle process and drive communications both internally and to customers. Act as primary contact for interactions with field-based reps about product-related inquiries. Act as liaison between sales and commercial operations for demand planning and forecasting. Trouble-shoot and collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve critical issues and inquiries that impact the portfolio. Ensure that milestones are met in line with finance, people, and time allocations. Manage molecular automation brand, including identification, planning, and execution of market research, collateral, campaigns, and digital marketing (website, email, videos) to drive brand awareness and value messages. Develop and roll out training on sales tools/assets to U.S. commercial teams and global marketing counterparts. Relevant molecular or clinical diagnostic experience strongly preferred, particularly with experience in medical devices. Advanced PowerPoint and Excel skills. Strong interpersonal skills who can thrive in a high-paced elite culture. Display strong analytical and strategic thinking. Polished, seasoned communicator who is passionate about engaging with the sales organization and customers to achieve success. Can analyze and summarize complex technical, financial, and/or market data into a cohesive story that can be communicated to colleagues and customers of different levels and functions. Customer-centric and keenly aware of molecular markets, trends, and competitors. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines. Ability to excel in a high-paced environment. Live in San Diego and able to travel periodically to support sales and customer meetings, tradeshows, and other as needed. Education BA/BS in Business Administration, Marketing, or Life Science required; MBA in Marketing or Business preferred. Experience/Education Requires BA/BS in Business Administration, Marketing, or Life Science and 8+ years of marketing and/or sales experience; MBA in Marketing and 5+ years of experience preferred. Direct experience in Clinical or Molecular diagnostics, Instrumentation preferred. Strong business and financial acumen are desired. In-depth knowledge of molecular diagnostic laboratory instrumentation and workflow. Excellent interpersonal, communication, presentation, and negotiation skills for a wide variety of audiences, including senior management. International work experience is preferred. The annualized base salary range for this role is $133,400 - $208,500 and is bonus eligible. Final compensation packages will ultimately depend on factors including relevant experience, skillset, knowledge, geography, education, business needs, and market demand.
