This role is critical in driving the company's profitability and market share by optimizing trade spending and pricing strategies. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industry, Trade Promotion Management (TPM), and ideally, hold a CPA designation.

**Job Summary:**The Trade and Pricing Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing trade promotion and pricing strategies that align with the company's financial goals and market positioning. This role requires a deep understanding of CPG dynamics, trade spend analysis, and a strong financial acumen to drive profitability.

**Key Responsibilities:**

**Trade Promotion Management (TPM):**- Lead the development and execution of trade promotion strategies across all channels.- Analyze trade spend data to optimize promotional effectiveness and ROI.- Collaborate with sales, marketing, and finance teams to align trade activities with overall business objectives.

**Pricing Strategy:**- Develop pricing strategies that maximize profitability while maintaining competitive market positioning.- Conduct market analysis to understand pricing trends, competitive landscape, and consumer behavior.- Implement price changes and monitor their impact on sales and profitability.

**Financial Analysis & Reporting:**- Prepare financial models and reports to support trade and pricing decisions.- Analyze the financial impact of trade promotions and pricing strategies, providing recommendations for improvement.- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and adjust strategies as needed.

**Cross-Functional Collaboration:**- Work closely with the sales, finance, and marketing teams to ensure alignment on pricing and trade strategies.- Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders to drive trade and pricing initiatives.

**Compliance & Risk Management:**- Ensure all pricing and trade activities comply with internal policies and external regulations.- Identify and mitigate risks associated with trade promotions and pricing strategies.

**Qualifications:**

**Experience:** Minimum of 7 years of experience in Trade Promotion Management (TPM) and pricing within the CPG industry.**Education:** Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field. A CPA designation is preferred.**Technical Skills:**

- Strong proficiency in financial modeling, analysis, and reporting.- Experience with TPM software and ERP systems.- Advanced Excel skills and knowledge of data analysis tools.

**Analytical Skills:** Strong ability to analyze complex data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.**Communication:** Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex information to various stakeholders.**Problem-Solving:** Proven ability to develop and implement creative solutions to pricing and trade challenges.**Industry Knowledge:** Deep understanding of the CPG industry, including market trends, competitive landscape, and consumer behavior.
