Job Description
We are seeking an Assistant Project Manager to join our team! You will be responsible for management and oversight for varied phases of the construction project.
Responsibilities:
Ensure that the project is administered at the highest level of compliance with company policies and proceduresSolicit vendors for pricing; recommend contract awardsAssemble and prepare complete and well thought-out estimates; perform quantity takeoffs and evaluationsPrepare accurate and concise contracts, subcontracts, and purchase ordersChase and review subcontractor submittals, verifying conformance to contract documentsAccurately forecast and track costs in cost reporting system; instruct and oversee monthly pay application processQualifications
Degree in engineering or construction management from an accredited college or universityMinimum 3-5 years experience in the commercial construction industryStrong planning and organizational skillsGood presentation skills; ability to persuade others; good negotiation skillsAdditional Information
