Responsibilities include:Establish and maintain strong partnerships with U.S. and Canadian benefit vendorsAnalyze key metrics and trends to develop strategies to optimize plan performance and utilizationCollaborate with communications specialist to promote benefit plans and employee wellnessServe as the subject matter expert and primary contact for assigned benefit plans and advise HR partners on administrative and policy questionsResearch, analyze and respond to administrative appealsFacilitate and review requests for proposals (RFPs); review and negotiate contracts and renewals with benefit vendors and monitor vendor performance to ensure contractual obligations are metAssist in the development and annual review of benefit materials including summary plan descriptions, enrollment guides, new hire communications and process documentsMonitor state and federal regulations and guidance relevant to plan complianceCompetency Based:Results-OrientedWorking With a TeamCustomer ServicePlanning and OrganizingDetail-OrientedAnalyzingCommunicationEqual Opportunity Employer/Disability/VeteransQualifications:Minimum:Must have a Bachelors DegreeMust have 5 or more years experience managing Health and Welfare benefits for corporations with 1,000+ employeesMust be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the futurePreferred:Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS) Designation
