Associate Scientist, Antibody Research
to serve in an impactful role in the cloning, transfection, and purification of recombinant antibodies.

Responsibilities:
Design and construct expression vectors for recombinant antibody production.
Sequence and analyze cloned genes to ensure accuracy and integrity.
Optimize transfection protocols to achieve high expression levels of antibodies.
Purify and characterize recombinant antibodies, and conduct computational work including DNAseq.
Prepare and present experimental findings to team and management.
Troubleshoot and optimize experimental protocols as needed.
Collaborate with other team members to achieve project goals.
Essential Qualifications:
BS/MS degree in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry or similar.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
Essential Experience:
4+ years of experience in a molecular biology lab with a strong focus on plasmid construction, DNA cloning, and DNA sequence analysis.
Hands-on experience in molecular cloning, cell culture, and protein purification.
Proficiency in molecular biology techniques such as PCR, gel electrophoresis, and Western blotting.
Familiarity with recombinant antibody production and characterization.
Additional Points:
This is a full-time position and the person can come from academia or industry.
This position can be Associate Scientist or Sr Associate Scientist.
Title and salary (including base plus annual bonus) are commensurate with experience.
