The Finance Director is responsible for providing strategic leadership of the Finance Department through the application of strategic fiscal knowledge and analytical skills for management of the organization's fiscal processes and data systems to support the delivery of high-quality programming. The Finance Director shall provide onsite oversight of the day-to-day operations of the Finance Department, providing technical support to all departments on fiscal matters.Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting.At least ten years of demonstrated experience in a Community Action Agency or non-profit, public, or governmental accounting department.Master's in Finance or MBA preferred.Skills and Competencies:Ability to provide competent leadership through planning, foresight, and follow-up.Excellent managerial skills and ability to evaluate staff performance.Excellent project management and time management skills.Exceptional analytical abilities.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Experience with multi-funded grant operations.Proficient with accounting software and standard office and accounting equipment.Demonstrated working knowledge and experience with federal and state regulations.
