Job Description:
The Director of Cardiovascular Services assumes the role as a leader in planning, directing and managing the department and staff to assure quality service on a 24-hour basis. The Director is responsible for staff performance and the accomplishment of department responsibilities in accord with corporate, hospital, department, and safety policies and procedures to meet both company and regulatory requirements. This role involves providing high-quality patient care, acting as a liaison with patients and their representatives, promoting teamwork with physicians and all healthcare providers, enhancing internal and external customer satisfaction, and ensuring appropriate resource management for the efficient operation of the department to maximize productivity and minimize costs.Qualifications:
FL RN licenseBLS, ACLSAssociates Degree; Bachelor's Degree preferred3+ years of acute care director experience in cardiovascular services REQUIRED. Open to manager experience if the candidate has several years of experience as a manager in a cardiovascular unit.
