Litigation Associate Attorney

A law firm in Indianapolis is actively seeking a Litigation Associate Attorney with a minimum of 2 years of experience, showcasing a strong preference for prior commercial litigation expertise. The ideal candidate will possess an outstanding academic record and be self-motivated, organized, and persuasive. Indiana licensure is a mandatory requirement for this position.Duties:Manage and handle various aspects of litigation cases from initiation to resolution.Conduct legal research and analysis to support litigation proceedings.Draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.Represent clients in court, presenting arguments and evidence.Collaborate with senior attorneys on case strategy and development.Maintain organized and detailed case files and documents.Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and the court.Attend hearings, depositions, and other legal proceedings.Participate in settlement negotiations and alternative dispute resolution.Requirements:2+ years of litigation experience, with a strong preference for prior commercial litigation experience.Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.Excellent academic record.Licensed to practice law in the state of Indiana.Self-motivated and organized with strong persuasive skills.Education:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.Certifications:Admission to practice law in the state of Indiana.Skills:Legal research and analysis.Document drafting and legal writing.Courtroom representation and advocacy.Communication and interpersonal skills.Negotiation and dispute resolution.Organizational and time management skills.
