0.9Position Summary:Incumbents perform basic medical, technical and administrative support services. Incumbents process routine endoscopes, non-disposable endoscopic equipment, and may provide standby technical assistance for routine endoscopic procedures. Specific duties include administering oral and injected medications, performing and/or assisting with various office procedures, assisting with or performing specimen collection and phlebotomy, collecting and recording patient data, providing patient information as directed, and assisting with patient flow during clinic hours. May assist the front office operations by answering incoming phone calls, maintaining records, preparing reports and updating patient files. Actively works to keep the clinic clean and organized as to meet all aspects of a JCAHO or Dept of Health survey.
