The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in healthcare technology and regulatory compliance, with expertise in corporate practice of medicine, federal and state healthcare laws, reimbursement models, and fraud and abuse advising.Duties and Responsibilities:Provide comprehensive legal counsel to digital health clients on regulatory compliance issues, including HIPAA, Anti-Kickback Statute, Stark Law, and False Claims Act.Draft and negotiate agreements related to digital health technology, including vendor contracts, licensing agreements, and compliance policies.Conduct legal research and analysis on federal and state healthcare regulations impacting digital health companies.Advise on corporate governance matters, including entity formation, equity financings, and mergers & acquisitions within the digital health sector.Assist clients with navigating reimbursement issues with federal, commercial, and self-insured payors.Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to address legal, regulatory, and operational challenges faced by digital health companies.Maintain regular communication with clients to ensure exceptional client service and support.Requirements:JD from an accredited law school.Admission to the California Bar (or ability to waive in).2-4 years of experience practicing healthcare law with a focus on regulatory compliance.Strong understanding of federal and state healthcare regulations relevant to digital health.Experience advising on corporate practice of medicine and multi-state regulatory considerations.Excellent organizational and project management skills with a meticulous eye for detail.Superior written and oral communication skills, with the ability to translate complex legal issues for non-legal stakeholders.Good business judgment and a commitment to delivering high-quality legal services.Benefits:
