Feb 09, 2023Job Summary:The Vice President, Audit & Accountability is part of the Global Operations (GO) department, responsible for implementing ideas across all brands and disciplines. The role involves leading the Brand Standard Audits program and the Global Accountability program. The VP will develop best-in-class audit and measurement tools and ensure a rigorous Global Accountability program.Key Accountabilities:Leads a team engaged in standards and audit development and management.Leads a team responsible for the execution of the Global Accountability Program.Partners with brand and operational leaders to enhance guest experience.Develops and manages audit & accountability budgets and relationships with external consultants.Candidate Profile:Required Education and Experience:4-year Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or a related field; plus 10 years of business management leadership experience. An advanced degree or MBA is highly desired.Preferred Experience:Hotel operations experience, partnership and negotiation skills, team building and coaching skills, and strong communication skills.Core Work Activities:Leads project teams for audit-related products and services, collaborates with external audit firms, and translates requirements into customer-driven solutions.Leadership Competencies:Creates belonging, develops others, leads change, learns & excels, and delivers results.Marriott International is an equal opportunity employer committed to hiring a diverse workforce.
