1Position Summary:The Nurse Manager has 24/7 leadership responsibility for all clinical, staffing, quality, and financial management for the unit. Ensures an effective patient care delivery system that is compliant and consistent with standards of practice. Implements strategies, processes, and standards to ensure operations support the key organizational and departmental initiatives such as quality of care, patient safety, and patient satisfaction. Promotes collegial relationships between the unit and other departments or disciplines across the Medical Center.Salary Range:Annual RateMinimum:

$138,800.00Midpoint:

$208,300.00Maximum:

$277,800.00Required Qualifications:Bachelor of Science, NursingAbility to manage multiple concurrent projects and maintain a work pace appropriate to the workloadAbility to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the Health SystemUnit specific nursing certificationPrior management experience in an acute care settingKnowledge of Title 22 and Joint Commission RequirementsA minimum of 3 years nursing experience in NICU equivalent to a Regional or Community NICUMaster’s degree in a related field or certification in nursing or health care administration from a nationally recognized accrediting organizationLicenses and Certifications:Basic Life Support (Required)Registered Nurse (Required)Preferred Qualifications:Master of Science in NursingConditions of Employment:The University of California, Irvine (UCI) seeks to provide a safe and healthy environment for the entire UCI community.
