Jeff King & Company seeks to add two additional employees: a Site Superintendent and Project Manager.
These positions will help us maintain our vision of a thriving and innovative future. We are looking for talented, highly motivated, dedicated, career-oriented professionals to join our team.These are full-time, salaried positions.Site Superintendent:Overall Responsibilities/Senior Site Superintendent:Take ownership and manage the project in its entirety, from site supervision to project details.Deliver the project on time and budget.Plan project pre-construction, layout, sequence of activities, and schedule.Manage sub-contractors, vendors/suppliers, architects, and change orders.Perform related paperwork duties, and daily logs, including project documentation and RFIs.Manage labor allocation and driver duties.Quality control from job start to job close out.Point of contact for field staff in problem-solving.Enforce safety standards on all jobsites.Participate in client meetings as needed.Ensure job safety and code compliance at all times.Comply with all company policies.Required Skills and Competencies:Ten years of relevant work experience in construction and/or project supervision/management; at least three years in high-end residential.Must work well with all types of personalities and know how to get the best out of your crew.Organized and detail-oriented.Excellent communication skills and professional demeanor.Mac computer proficiency is helpful, including knowledge of MS Office Suite, AEC Fast Track (a plus).Deep knowledge of scheduling.Exposure to, and interest in Green Building.Clean DMV and active CDL with reliable transportation.Project Manager:Overall Responsibilities/Project Manager:
You will be on the “front line” in achieving our mission of providing the best service and building the best product to achieve superior customer satisfaction. Your responsibilities will include:Pre-production planning and estimate confirmation.Managing projects in partnership with a Site Superintendent or Lead Carpenter to complete on time and within budget.Managing budget, including on-time change orders and allowance reconciliations.Long-term project planning with well-documented scope.Maintaining excellent communication with clients, designers, and architects.Maintaining all jobsite paperwork.Quality control.Client satisfaction.Required Skills and Competencies:Ten years of relevant work experience in construction and/or project supervision/management.Organized and detail-oriented.Excellent communication skills.Service-oriented.Mac computer proficiency, including knowledge of MS Office Suite, AEC Fast Track (a plus).Deep knowledge of scheduling and estimating.Knowledge and interest in Green Building.Clean DMV and active CDL with own transportation.EDUCATION/CREDENTIALS :Bachelor’s degree is a plus.
