Senior Automation (Mechatronic) Engineer
Full time (40 hours/week).Serve as part of a team of Engineers through contracted projects for Process Automation, Cleaning, and Process Validation within the biopharmaceutical industry. Responsibilities include:Leading qualification projects with an emphasis on Automation Controls and Engineering for the biopharmaceutical manufacturing industry.Creating and executing commissioning and qualification protocols for automated systems.Walking down mechanical and electrical drawings and schematics for accuracy.Performing I/O loop checks, sequence of operation verifications, and alarm and interlock verifications.Applying engineering principles related to Computer Systems Validation, and Commissioning/Qualification/Validation protocols for automated systems in FDA regulated industries.Utilizing common PLC and DCS software and hardware systems including Allen Bradley and Emerson.Participating in contracted validation projects including managing, leading, preparing, reviewing, and executing validation protocols including Process Validation Master Plans as it relates to Automation Engineering.The position requires a bachelor's degree in Mechatronic Engineering (or US equivalent) plus 1 year on the job.Salary - $97,718/yearSend resume/CV to VTI Life Sciences Inc. via email to
