Advise clients on compliance with consumer financial regulations at both state and federal levels.Provide counsel on payments and credit products.Address issues related to unfair, deceptive, or abusive acts or practices laws.Assist clients in navigating regulations about mortgage lenders/servicers, FinTech, cryptocurrency, and other digital assets.Conduct legal research and draft memos, briefs, and other legal documents.Represent clients in regulatory proceedings and interactions with regulatory agencies.Maintain up-to-date knowledge of evolving consumer financial regulations and industry practices.Collaborate with other attorneys and staff on complex legal issues.Requirements

Minimum of 4 years of experience in consumer financial regulatory matters.Experience with consumer financial regulations, including payments and credit products at the state and federal levels.Knowledge of unfair, deceptive, or abusive acts or practices laws.Experience with emerging platforms, FinTech, mortgage lenders/servicers, cryptocurrency, and other digital assets is a plus.Outstanding oral and written communication skills.Unrelenting commitment to client service.Education and Certifications

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Must be a member of the DC Bar in good standing.Skills
