In July of 2022, Central Naugatuck Valley Help, Inc., and the McCall Center for Behavioral Health finalized a merger to form the McCall Behavioral Health Network. The McCall Behavioral Health Network now provides much needed care to thousands of residents in western Connecticut who have struggled or continue to struggle with addiction and mental health disorders. This care is delivered in a compassionate and caring way that aligns with the organization’s mission to inspire hope and promote wellness and healing through a continuum of behavioral health services — prevention, treatment, recovery support, and community engagement.As a CARF-accredited behavioral health provider, McCall offers residential and outpatient treatment, mental health group homes and services, adolescent services, family services, medication assisted treatment, and pharmaceutical services in Torrington and Waterbury.Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the Director of Finance is a senior level financial professional responsible for the planning, organizing, coordinating, and evaluating fiscal activities for this $23M+ healthcare enterprise. In an increasingly complex healthcare financial environment, the Director of Finance provides regular education, and shares financial information with agency leadership and program management staff while managing accounting operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable in an integrated healthcare setting. Plays a key role in assuring the organization’s financial stability through comprehensive analysis and reporting financial compliance and trends. In collaboration with the CFO develops financial strategy, optimizing revenue for the organization, while improving efficiencies. Participates in preparation and presentations for the Finance Committee and the Board of Directors.This is a wonderful opportunity for an experienced Financial professional to join McCall’s incredibly talented Leadership Team to further develop and enhance a sophisticated system to attract and retain staff, and to ensure that systems and processes are in place to build on an already strong and highly regarded system that is further positioning itself to be successful in Connecticut’s rapidly expanding health and behavioral healthcare environment.
