This includes oversight of people and processes within the department including all transportation management functions such as bookings, tenders, carrier selection, carrier management, International Shipping (export/import), freight claims process, and freight invoice management. The position demands effective investigative and problem-solving skills, and a high degree of accuracy due to the effect on our clients, their customers, and freight carriers. The position requires daily management and coordination of direct reporting resources and effective interpersonal relationship skills and oral and written communication skills.Job Description

Lead the day-to-day supply chain department operations.Develop a small team to design and implement holistic process improvement programs to ensure the team responds quickly and efficiently to day-to-day issues.Execute operational initiatives that increase revenue and/or improve margins.Support the freight audit relationship with contracted carriers and manage carrier relationships.Oversee freight/shipment analysis & financial implications at the individual client and carrier levels.Manage employee performance, work processes, and other resources effectively.Trend supply chain challenges with associated CAPAs; implement improvements accordingly.Conduct analysis and implement relevant business continuity and risk management programs across the supply chain.Manage and lead a dedicated team of Logistics professionals, developing and mentoring talent.Develop/update and maintain supply chain SOPs to ensure all key processes are documented and submitted to the quality system (QMS).Ensure supply chain processes comply with regulations that apply to EVERSANA’s business model.Responsible for ensuring all Logistics requirements are met for current and future business needs based on forecasts, new product launches, and acquisitions.Adhere to acceptable standards of business ethics and integrity, and comply with all federal, state, and local laws, rules, and regulations.All other duties as assigned.PEOPLE LEADERPeople leaders must possess both the skills to effectively accomplish these tasks and the emotional intelligence to do so in alignment with our cultural values. This role includes the following unique responsibilities:Execute the goals established by the business and the supply chain services leader.Effectively delegate tasks, responsibility, and accountability to teams.Responsible for leading their respective department and improving the quality of the department's work product.Assess and determine appropriate personnel and structure to accomplish necessary day-to-day functions.Interview, select, and supervise the activities of the department staff.EXPECTATIONS OF THE JOB:

The incumbent is responsible for the management and leadership of day-to-day operational and administrative functions of the supply chain solutions team, including:Accountable for the timely and accurate processing of carrier billing and client billing.Oversee the transformation of billing to TMS auditing and maintaining metrics and reports.Monitor service levels for accuracy, identifying gaps and root causes then executing solutions.Assist in maintaining team SOPs and Work Instructions and ensure team members are adequately trained on them.Enhance the network of domestic and global transportation providers.Develop KPIs to ensure proper carrier and service provider performance.Establish controls for anticipatory logistics to mitigate and reduce the risk for problems.Ensure compliance and controls for Customs, FDA, DSCSA, DOT, IATA, ICAO, and DEA.Investigate discrepancies in supply chain deliverables.Qualifications

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or any field of study.Expert knowledge of transportation modes including parcel, courier, LTL, FTL, air freight, import-export air, and sea freight.Advanced knowledge of transportation billing and audit processes and systems.Current knowledge of Global Cold Chain solutions.Superior technology skills using WMS, TMS, MS Suite, and Power BI.Minimum 10 years of experience in Supply Chain; pharmaceutical industry knowledge is a plus.Advanced leadership and people management skills including cross-functional teams.Extensive experience implementing business process improvements and integrations.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:Education:

MBA preferred or equivalent experience.Experience and/or Training:
