The Pediatric Dentist provides primary and comprehensive preventative and therapeutic oral health care for infants and children through adolescence, including those with special health care needs. Responsibilities include diagnosing, preventing, and treating problems with teeth or mouth tissue, performing extractions, and providing instruction on dental care.Essential Functions :Patient Care: Diagnose dental conditions, provide treatment plans and cost estimates, prepare diagnostic records, and collaborate with healthcare professionals. (60%)Dental Procedures: Determine appropriate dental procedures, administer anesthetics, and perform orthodontic treatment and space maintenance. (40%)Documentation: Maintain charts and treatment plans, and complete required reports.
